Purpose:
To encourage you to look closer at the moves that make up a climb and less at the climb as a whole
Where: wherever you like
This drill can be done in any environment on any hold types.
When: during the Learning Window
You can complete this on any climb of any grade, as long as you can finish the route

The Drill:
Climb any route you choose, as normal.
- Immediately after completing your route, read the route again in the same way that you climbed it
- Once you have identified each move, select your favourite move on the route
- Move on to the next climb and repeat
The Outcome: How do you know when it’s working?
Over time, you should find that you begin to look closer at individual moves on the route, rather than simply viewing climbs as single entities
